Limewire is Down

Limewire has been shutdown

Limewire, a file sharing site recently got sued by a music company, claiming that they have lost billions of dollars because of illegal music downloads from limewire. The program has been shut down, but the company still owns the name. Who knows what Limewire will become now that they cannot work with file sharing. They were shut down due to "Assisting other users in committing copyright infrigment. Limewire CEO George Searle says, "naturally disappointed with this turn of events," but is "deeply committed to working with the music industry and making the act of loving music more fulfilling for everyone." For more information on this topic, please read this post from PCWorld: LimeWire Shutdown.
